South East Wales – a unique opportunity for Medtech Devices and Diagnostics derived data and AI?
South East Wales is considered to have the potential to be a leading region
in Medical Devices and Diagnostics. Coupled with our medical research
centres of excellence, supplemented by data analytics and AI, and
compound semi conductors, does the potential exist to build us into a
Cardiff Capital region has endorsed a bid led by Creo Medical, to a UKRI
call, to build South East Wales into a recognised region of excellence
for Medtech Devices and Diagnostics. To achieve this ambitious goal, we
need to combine all our strengths in the region in both public and
private sectors, and in particular our academic medical research
capability, to develop an integrated and vibrant ecosystem as the
catalyst for rapid growth.
Digital Tuesday will pull together clinical and digital experts to hear, share
and shape plans to develop an ambitious solution.
As part of this initiative we will be launching an offshoot from the
highly successful Digital Tuesdays…Medtech Mondays. As with Digital
Tuesdays we rely on the views, passion and experience of the Medtech
