Cardiff Capital Region is recruiting for members of the Governance and Audit Sub-Committee

Cardiff Capital Region (CCR) is looking for independent members to join our new Governance and Audit Sub-Committee for a term of 4 years. The Governance and Audit Sub-Committee will have 15 members, including 10 councillors and 5 independent (lay) members.

Governance and Audit Committee

The Governance and Audit Sub-Committee will be a key component of CCR’s corporate governance. It is important that political decision-making within CCR is transparent and that CCR is able to be held to account and challenged for the decisions that it takes.

The Sub-Committee is an independent advisory committee to CCR which reviews and scrutinises the financial affairs, risk management, internal control, performance management and corporate governance arrangements of the CJC.
