Cardiff Capital Region’s (CCR) Strategic Premises Fund has been nominated in the ‘Funder of the Year’ category at the Insider Wales Property Awards 2025.
The awards celebrate the achievements of businesses and individuals across the Welsh property and construction sector, with nominees drawn up by a panel of independent judges.
Cardiff Capital Region’s Strategic Premises Fund is a £50m fund designed to accelerate the delivery of employment space through commercial development and site-specific infrastructure, supporting new and existing businesses to scale up and drive economic development throughout South East Wales. The fund aims to deliver high quality and modern workspaces for our region’s businesses, supporting development projects and bringing forward sites that may otherwise be left underutilised.
Investments delivered through the fund include:
- Pulse Plastics
- Great Point Seren Studios
- The completion of the 146-bed Tŷ Hotel
The fund is advised by CBRE Lending team who source and evaluate potential investments for the fund and monitor investment developments. The CBRE team will join CCR at the awards ceremony in June.
