The Cardiff Capital Region (CCR) is set to showcase the very best of South East Wales at an annual London-based series of activities and events that celebrate and promote everything great about Wales.
Wales Week in London provides Welsh organisations with the opportunity to promote their products and services, and develop new London-based audiences, partnerships and connections, and takes place between 22 February and 8 March 2020.
Delegates from the Cardiff Capital Region will be hosting three events during the week, each focusing on some of the projects and developments at the heart of the region:
South East Wales: A thriving land of opportunity for graduates

The Cardiff Capital Region Graduate Scheme links talented graduates with ambitious businesses within the Cardiff Capital Region. Join us for this session to find out how the Scheme and top universities in South Wales provide fantastic opportunities to gain experience, study, research and maximise your potential.

This session will provide an insight into the work of the world’s first compound Semiconductor cluster, situated here in South East Wales, hosted by Chris Meadows, Head of Open Innovation at IQE.
Place-making in the Cardiff Capital Region

Hosted by the Cardiff Capital Region Business Council, this event will cover a number of different talks from key figures in the Cardiff Capital Region who are driving forward regeneration initiatives and investment opportunities. Talks to include: ‘The Barry Story – a proud past; a confident future’, ‘This is not a Racetrack; changing the narrative’ and ‘Real Estate in the Cardiff Capital Region – A developer’s perspective’.
