Do you have the experience and commitment to help shape major investment decisions for South East Wales?

Cardiff Capital Region (CCR) brings together the ten local authorities of South East Wales through the South East Wales Corporate Joint Committee (CJC) to drive long‑term, sustainable economic growth. We invest in infrastructure, innovation, skills and business growth to create a more prosperous, inclusive and sustainable region.

We are seeking senior leaders from the regional business community to join our Investment Board. Working alongside five public sector Chief Executives, you will provide expert advice and recommendations on CCR’s major investment programmes.

About the role

As an Investment Board Member, you will:

  • Review and challenge investment proposals under CCR’s regional investment funds;
  • Help shape our investment frameworks and new funding programmes;
  • Provide insight on portfolio performance, risks and opportunities; and
  • Uphold the highest standards of governance, transparency and public value.

The Board is advisory, but its recommendations carry significant weight when it comes to the CJC’s investment decisions.
