Status update as at March 2021

  • Despite unprecedented levels of uncertainty continuing to dominate the business environment our Graduate Scheme has proven its worth and its ability to adapt and has continued to appoint graduates across the region.
  • In January 2021, the scheme inducted its largest cohort to date and has continued to engagement with businesses virtually, working with our partner Global Welsh exploring the value of networking and holding a workshop with Natwest Business Builder.
  • On the graduate front, the Graduate Scheme also attended the All Wales Virtual Careers Fair in March 2021, engaging with thousands of students and showcasing the region as a destination to kick-start your graduate career.
  • Looking to the next few months, the Graduate Scheme is implementing key recommendations following a review with graduate recruitment consultancy Gradcore, focussing on the meeting of its first strategic group, rebranding and scaling up systems and processes.
