Regional Growth Board seeks new members to promote innovation and investment in CCR

Cardiff Capital Region (CCR) is looking for independent members to join our new Regional Growth Board (RGB) for a term between 2-4 years.

The Regional Growth Board

The RGB will play a critical role working alongside the CCR Investment Board in collaborating with leading innovation, policy and investment experts, to provide the Corporate Joint Committee (CJC) with high quality evidence, data and advice to help strengthen policy and decision making. The RGB brings together business, academia, the community sector, and wider public sector partners to ensure diverse perspectives inform CCR’s planning, policy making, and wider delivery activity.

The RGB’s functions include but are not limited to driving forward key policy initiatives, exploring new investment propositions, advising CCR on the opportunities brought by the CJC to maximise new powers, investment levers and policy tools, and providing strategic foresight to inform the regional strategy and policy frameworks that will guide investment decisions.
