South East Wales Corporate Joint Committee Audit Of Accounts For The Financial Year 2022/2023

NOTICE OF PUBLIC RIGHTS IS HEREBY GIVEN That pursuant to the Public Audit (Wales) Act 2004 and Accounts and Audit (Wales) Regulations, 2014, as amended:

 

  1. From Monday 4th September 2023 to Friday 29th September 2023 inclusive between 9.30 am and 3.30 pm (except Saturdays and Sundays), interested persons, may inspect and receive copies of any reasonable requests for further detail in relation to information included in the above-named accounts. The accounts will be available for inspection on the Corporate Joint Committee’s website.  Applications for information should be made initially via email to info@cardiffcapitalregion.wales.
  1. On Monday 2nd October 2023, the Appointed Auditor, Audit Wales, 1 Capital Quarter, Tyndall Street, Cardiff, CF10 4BZ, at the request of a local government elector or their representative for the area to which the accounts relate, will provide an opportunity to question them about the accounts and make objections:
  • On the grounds that any item of account contrary to the law; or;
  • With respect to any matter coming to the notice of the auditor in the course of the audit upon which he could make a report in the public interest

No objection may be made unless the auditor has first received written notice of it and of the grounds on which it has been made. A copy of this notice must also be sent to me at the address below.
