Innovate from Within is a four month programme designed to catalyse powerful innovative ideas that are outside business as usual.
Whether you’re a business leader wanting to spark innovation or an employee with a bold idea, this is your chance to turn potential into progress. To create innovation that can help local businesses to grow and create real benefits for the region.

Innovate from Within provides a fast-track intensive process to kick start the best ideas and innovation within your business. Joining the programme you will:
- Build the skills to lead innovation and to inspire others to do the same.
- Mobilise internal networks within your own company to build momentum for your innovation
- Understand of the barriers to innovation within your business and learn in action how to overcome them.
- Prototype and test a proposition which has the potential to grow your impact and your business.
- Collaborate and connect with other companies and partners in your region

Who are we looking for?
To apply you need to complete a short application form which will ask you to:
- Outline an innovative idea you would like to take forward or an opportunity area that you think is ripe for innovation within your business
- The idea should represent something outside your core business or a meaningful shift in how you operate internally.
- Provide details of a starter team.
- If you are an intrapreneur with an idea this means finding a sponsor in your company who will back you taking part.
- If you are a business leader wanting to spark innovation within this means finding someone you would like to lead this work.
Key Dates
- Programme runs: June – October 2025.
- Fixed dates: 17 June, 16 July, 18 September, October (tbc)
- Participation is flexible, but your team must attend all core activities.
- We recommend that participants are able to commit time outside of core activities to advance the innovation ideas.
Please note:
- The programme is open to all sectors and sizes of company however individual entrepreneurs and startups cannot apply for this programme, your core business should already established and profitable.
- The programme is not designed to support the launch of innovative ideas that have already been developed and tested, the focus is on working with high potential ideas that have not yet been taken forward.
- The programme places are fully funded but companies will need to support their participants to be released and there is no direct funding for ideas development.

CCR has partnered with the Leadership Centre to offer Innovate from Within. Led by Andrew Harrison and Anna Mouser, with support from entrepreneurs and innovators across the UK and Europe the programme will offer deep expertise and practical insight to every step of the journey.
