Selected from more than twenty funding bids, the three successful bids have all been awarded a four-month feasibility contract of up to £50,000 per project. At the end of the four months, the projects will be assessed and the most promising will be awarded additional funding to pilot and test prototypes.
Cardiff, UK, 15 December 2022- CanSense and IQ Endoscopes have been awarded funding to develop their concepts in the initial phase of the Endoscopy Challenge, run by the Innovation team of Shaping Change at Cardiff & Vale University Health Board (CAV UHB) and supported by the CCR (Cardiff Capital Region) Challenge Fund.
The CCR Challenge Fund is open to new expressions of interest and seeking challenge ideas from public sector bodies.
